At the end of 2003 Law 60/2003 was passed, a new Law on Arbitration based on the UNCITRAL Model Law, which, since its entry into force in March 2004, has brought a necessary and important boost to international arbitration.
AEADE, a point of reference for arbitration institutions nationwide, wishes to offer natural and legal persons its experience and professionalism, to encourage agents to choose Spain and, if applicable, AEADE’s regulations and procedural rules.
AEADE INTERNACIONAL was created, therefore, after an important change in the Spanish legal system, which has gained in efficacy and legal security, supporting the validity and compulsory nature of both the arbitration agreements and the awards.
ARBITRATION CLAUSE RECOMMENDED FOR INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in Madrid under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules in accordance with the AEADE Procedures for the Administration of International Arbitration in force at the date of this contract.
